The Studio

 

We have comfortable, light work areas for small groups; the group sizes usually vary from 5 to 12. The studio is in peaceful countryside and our grounds are available for outside inspiration.

 

Courses and workshops

Courses and workshops for the studio diary are carefully planned to suit a range of abilities and tastes.

 

If you are looking for something that isn't already listed in the studio diary you may still like to get in touch and talk to us - we are always keen to develop our programme and will be pleased to hear from you.

 

 

 

 

Materials

For some of our workshops and courses the tutors will provide materials. In addition, the basic materials can be purchased here at a competitive price. For example we stock kunin felt, beads, chiffon scarves, a variety of fabrics, notions and jewellery findings.

 

 

 

The Studio for private use

The Studio is available for rent for groups and organisations, for either half or full days.

Private classes can be arranged, tailored to your groups needs. As well as individual work spaces there's a large table - ideal for placing patchwork blocks, and adding borders and backing fabrics to quilts.

 

Lunches and refreshments

 

Lunch

Lunch is available on all courses, at a reasonable cost, for you to relax and enjoy the whole experience here. You will be able to choose on the day from a blackboard menu. We use organic home-grown seasonal produce and fresh local ingredients where possible.

Specific dietary requirements can be catered for on request, so please let us know.

 

 

Beverages

Various beverages are always available throughout the day.

Sample menu

Spinach roulade filled with tomatoes, fresh herbs and cheeses served with a salad garnish and homemade seeded loaf.

 

Smoked mackerel pate with breadstick and homemade pickles and garnish.

 

Open sandwiches:
Bacon, lettuce and tomato; Chicken tikka with a mango salsa; Mozzarella and tomato with a freshpesto and balsamic drizzle;
Cornish Blue, with pear and walnut chutney.

How to find us

Roseland Mews Studio is near Liskeard, a mile from the A38. We'll send you directions and there's plenty of parking space.

If you are travelling by train the station at Liskeard is just 3 miles from here. Please let us know your train arrival time and we can arrange to pick you up, or let you know about local taxis.
