Tregood Farm self-cateringCongdon's ShopLaunceston, CornwallSelf-catering converted barn

self-cateringThe original blacksmith's workshop at Tregood Farm has been recently converted to provide delightful self-catering accommodation - but, of course, we still call it the The Old Smithy! All the rooms are on one level and everything has been thoughtfully arranged so that it's easy to use, suitable for families and for disabled visitors. The main room combines the kitchen and dining table, and the sitting area which has a settee and chairs, and colour television. There are two double bedrooms, one has a kingsize bed (6ftx6ft) which can, if you wish, be unzipped to make two singles instead. The bathroom also has a walk in shower. OutsideOutside there's a patio, storage for bikes and private parking. Congdon's Shop is within easy reach of Launceston (6 miles) and the A30 (2 miles) so you will be able to explore Cornwall and Devon from here. What's special here? |

The original oak beams and granite stonework that are still features inside the Old Smithy remind us that this was an important part of the life of the farm, where the hard work of maintaining the farm's machinery and shoeing the horses took place. Tregood is a working farm and Jackie will be pleased to talk to you about the farm.
